Soccer sucks

I’m not saying if you don’t like soccer you’re a meathead. I’m saying those who come out and flat out say “soccer sucks” are the guilty ones. If you hate it then hate it but don’t ram it down our throats about how much you hate it and what you hate about it. There’s this sports radio guy who almost everyday he’s on the air says “soccer sucks. It’s terrible” and he laughs. It gets old real fast. Dude, we get the point. I feel like there are many more like him out there.

Let those who enjoy soccer and this whole upcoming month without hearing about how much our sport sucks.

I’m not a fan of hockey but I don’t go into message boards or express how much it sucks because I don’t get it and don’t like it.

I don’t condone European soccer fan behavior. Those hooligans who riot and chant racial slurs are terrible. Fans here can be just as bad.

That YouTube video is pretty funny. Obviously it’s an exaggerated parody of fouls in soccer but yes fake fouls happen. Referees have been told to give out red cards (automatic ejections) for players who fake it.
