Kid Should Decide, Not Coach

Wow. I completely agree with everything stated above and couldn't say it better myself. When it all boils down to it, i understand the sitting out for a year.

These however are still kids learning in the world and have the right to seek happiness and fulfillment elsewhere. Whether the kid thinks he would have a better opportunity elsewhere, wants a change of scenery, or just plain does not like where he's at -- the coach or college for that matter should have no say in where he wants to go.

I don't care if it it's 10 miles down the road. Revoke the scholarship, be professional, and wish the kid well in future.
