In just over 3 weeks, the Discover Orange Bowl will take place at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida, and Discover is launching an interactive poll through social media called "Cheer on your Champs" for college football fans around the country.
From now until December 9th fans will have the opportunity to participate. You can share photos of your team on Instagram, tweet for your team, or recruit your friends on Facebook. Also, be sure to include the keywords which are Discover Orange Bowl or hashtag Discover Orange Bowl (#DiscoverOrangeBowl) in your posts. Fans can also monitor the ongoing conversation by following the aforementioned hashtag.
Fans are also encouraged to visit discoverorangebowl.com to see how supportive the fellow fans of their team are, and to encourage other fellow fans to post an Instagram photo, tweet, or like a post to show support.
Examples of some posts are listed below.
Instagram – Upload a photo and include a brief message, hashtag your favorite team, and hashtag Discover Orange Bowl. So it would look something like this "I would love to see the #Spartans playing in this year's #DiscoverOrangeBowl.
Twitter & Facebook – Similar to Instagram. Just send out a tweet, hashtag your favorite team and Discover Orange Bowl. It would look like this "I'm hoping that #Alabama will be heading to this year's #DiscoverOrangeBowl #RollTide."
After the Discover Orange Bowl teams are announced, fans will be encourage to cheer on their team in the weeks leading up to the game. The interactive dashboard at discoverorangebowl.com will become specific to the two teams selected, and will turn into a real-time social media tracker. Fans will be able to let their voice be heard by doing the exact same thing as before. Just send out a social media message, hashtag your favorite team and Discover Orange Bowl.
