How much is a Super Bowl worth to some people? Some it means everything for them. The Cleveland Browns fan who rushed the field last season was sentenced to jail and not allowed to watch the Super Bowl. Harsh. Other it means 4.5 years in jail.
The brother of Pittsburgh Steelers safety Tyrone Carter had his sentence for driving with a revoke license increase from six months to five years because he didn't show up to jail on time.
Tank Carter was suppose to report to jail on Jan 6 but when his brother told him the Steelers had a good chance to make it to the Super Bowl, he skipped out.
He watched the Steelers beat the Seahawks from the 50 yard line and partied with Snoop Dog.
Surprisingly Tank said he would do it all over again.
"Even knowing what I know now, I would do it again," Carter said. "It was the greatest game in my life."
On January 6 the playoffs hadn't even started yet. So there was no guarantee they would be in the Super Bowl. It would have sucked to do more jail time just to see the Bengals beat the Steelers. Wait...do you now think the hit on Carson Palmer was so innocent? Maybe it was an "inside" job. Mike Vanderjadt missing a field goal on purpose to avoid the threats of the Tank? Jake Plummer probably got scared when the head of bronco showed up on his bed the morning of the AFC championship game. Tank was going to jail anyways for much longer he knew so why not make sure he got to enjoy everything.
