Bradley, George Mason, and Wichita State are all in the Sweet Sixteen. Pittsburgh, Tennessee, and UNC were all their latest victims. Believe it. It's March. Not April Fool's.
In the matchup everyone has been waiting for all year, maybe even the game of the millenium, Wichita State will play George Mason with the Elite Eight at stake. Okay I totally say that with sarcasm shot up on steroids but I know that no one believed they'd see those two teams still in it.
I don't know where Bradley came from but as a #13 they beat Kansas and Pittsburgh to get a shot at Memphis. Arguably they're the weakest #1 seed so everyone not living in Memphis will probably be rooting for Bradley to pull the major upset. It's all about the upsets!
Though it seems higher seeds have been dominating this tournament, it's just that they get more attention. The higher seeds are expected to win so when they do we're not saying "holy crap!".
After the first two rounds we see that being a tournament champion doesn't matter (see Syracuse, Kansas and Iowa). The Big Ten is crap with all six of their teams gone. The Missouri Valley Conference has two. The Patriot league has one team left. And if the tournament lasted two months it still wouldn't be enough to satisfy most fans.
