Indiana is definitely the best team, returning essentially everyone from a Sweet 16 team that gave Kentucky a run for its money. Peyton Siva is my favorite player in America and he returns for Louisville and Coach Pitino on a legitimate national championship team after a Final Four run a year ago. Don’t count them or Kentucky out if they have a slow Novemeber and December though, as both always seem to come around by tourney time. Kentucky is vastly overrated in every poll. Yes, they have more talent than any team in America BY FAR, but they will take awhile to be really good. It’s only natural after that much lineup turnover. Kansas is also incredibly overrated. NC State may take the ACC crown away from Duke and Carolina, something that hasn’t happened in the ACC since 2003 and hasn’t happened for NC State since 1989. Creighton is my team to watch, although I am a bit disappointed that, as of now, Wisconsin is the only really good team on their schedule, and even the Badgers may not be great.

I’ve talked about Siva and Trey Burke was a massive surprise in 2012 and appears to be the focal point of the Wolverine offense in 2013. Muhammad is a freshman, but everything I’ve seen and everything I’m hearing makes it seem like he’s going to be an absolute stud. McDermott and Zeller are as good as they come in the post, and McDermott adds that perimeter game.
