Super Bowl Odds Keep on Changing

Super Bowl LVII is sneaking right up on us, with the NFL regular season coming to a close. Every single week throughout the 2022-2023 NFL regular season, the odds keep on changing, and they will continue to do so once the playoffs begin next weekend. It will be interesting to see what happens as the postseason and seeding plays out.

The NFL predictions for the Super Bowl were already made by analysts before the season began. A lot of them were way off, and some of them were spot on the money. With the updated odds, who has the best shot to win Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona?

Buffalo Bills +375

At the current moment, the Buffalo Bills still are the favorites to win it all this season. Buffalo is most likely not going to get home-field advantage in the AFC after an unforeseen circumstance that occurred on Monday night football against the Cincinnati Bengals, where safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and needed CPR. The game was stopped, and he is currently in our prayers.

The Bills are going to need to rally around their teammate and try and win it all for him. They have the talent to do so on both sides of the football. Josh Allen is an MVP-caliber quarterback, but he does take a lot of risks. Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis are a solid receiving core. They have two x-factors offensively, and that’s rookie running back James Cook and wide receiver Isaiah MacKenzie.

They have one of the best defenses in the NFL this season, and it should carry them well into the postseason. However, they will have to get through the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs in order to get to Super Bowl LVII.

Kansas City Chiefs +400

The Kansas City Chiefs currently have the second-best odds of winning Super Bowl LVII. They are most likely going to get the number one seed in the AFC this season. It is possible that Kansas City is hosting the AFC Championship Game for the fifth consecutive season. Patrick Mahomes is a superstar quarterback and probably the favorite to land the MVP award for the second time in his NFL career.

Tight end Travis Kelce is their best receiving option. The thing that can kill them down the stretch is their lack of a running game and their defense. Kansas City will most likely face the Buffalo Bills or the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game. However, there is a scenario in which the Chiefs could be facing Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC Divisional Round.

The Chiefs have already beaten them twice this season, but the Chargers would look to avoid going 0-3 against them. Kansas City has been to the Super Bowl the last two of four seasons and are looking to make it three of five.

San Francisco and Philadelphia Eagles +550

The San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles both have the third-best odds to win the Super Bowl this year. San Francisco and Philadelphia are most likely going to be the second seed and the first seed in the NFC playoffs. This is a potential collision course for the NFC Championship Game this season.

The 49ers have already won the NFC West. The Eagles need to hold off the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East title. Even if Philadelphia doesn’t win the NFC East, they will be fine as long as they can have quarterback Jalen Hurts healthy and offensive lineman Lane Johnson healthy. If not, then they should be faded in any bets to win Super Bowl LVII this season.

San Francisco is getting healthy bodies back. Brock Purdy is their quarterback until further notice and has been so much better than Jimmy Garoppolo has been. Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel are ready to return, and Nick Bosa might be the defensive player of the year for them. The San Francisco 49ers are looking to go to the Super Bowl for the second time in four seasons and three times in four years for the NFC Championship Game.
