Remembering 9/11

As we enjoy another week, don't forget to take a moment to remember the victims of 9/11. Certainly all day there will be tributes and we do remember but I just wanted to pay my respects to those who lost their lives in the most senseless act of terrorism most of us will ever be a part of.

I've been to the site of the World Trade center and the silence there speaks louder than any memorial I've ever been. Just standing there and knowning that on 9/11/2001 there was panic and fear going on for those inside and around the building. Sadly many of them died in the collapse of the building or jumped to their deaths so they went on their own terms instead of letting the fires consume them.
