Lockdown and the Play Offs

With the NFL playoffs underway there are many questions to be answered, like “can the Cleveland Browns cope with a Covid criss? Could we possibly be heading for a Mahome vs Rodgers showdown in Super Bowl LV? And --- where are the New England Patriots?

Not only are the 2021 NFL Playoffs underway, the Super Bowl 55 is right around the corner but of course with the threat of Covid19 ever present uncertainty about whether games will take place is ever present.

Because of fortunate scheduling the NFL sidestepped the star of the pandemic and was able to complete all of its 256 regular seasonal games, but with current events happening in Washington and Covid outbreaks ever threatening the stakes could not be higher.

The defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers have been given a first-round bye and since 1990 there are only 12 teams seeded three or lower have reached the Super Bowl (none since the 2012 Ravens)

Lockdown and the Hospitality Industry in General

It’s pretty safe to say that 2020 was a year that was unlike any other that we have experienced and as we roll into 2021 the threat of Covid19 has changed the way we work, live, source our goods and services as well as our entertainment.

One of the industries which has suffered alongside many others is the gambling industry as physical venues have had to close due to social distancing - which means that cinemas, theatres and casinos have all had to close just like gyms, sports centers as well as those offshoot businesses which relied on the hospitality industry to succeed.

Turning Online

The lockdown of so many establishments has made the internet even more crucial to the way we live and being online has proven to be a life-saver to many people. Those industries that made the move online could never have known how important that presence would be, and one of the first industries that created a strong online presence was the gambling industry.

Being able to have a bet of wager online whenever and wherever you happen to be ticks a lot of boxes for a great many players, especially in these stressful days we are living in. Playing at sites like FruityKing.co.uk can bring some fun and excitement into a day, especially if you are remote working.
