On March 31st 2018 Anthony Joshua will fight Joseph Parker in a bid to prove who the greatest heavyweight champion is. It promises to be an intense fight although experts are already predicted that Parker will be the loser.

But is this the case, or will Parker as the underdog pull off the biggest win of his career so far?

Straight away you can see why Joshua is seen as the favourite, but this doesn't mean the fight is finished before it even starts!

Get Your Bet Right

In fact, this is a great time to make a little money yourself. There are plenty of places where you can get joshua vs parker betting tips but the real reason to bet on the underdog is for the reasons that he could triumph in this fight:

Speed

Parker is shorter but he's fast. He'll have to keep moving his head while he stays in reach of Joshua's arms, but his speed could deliver several deadly blows in fast succession.

Chin

Joshua stands very tall and often exposes his chin. However, Parker generally punches with his right while Joshua's chin is exposed to the left. He's going to have to show that he can switch his style and lad a few accurate left handed hooks to really unsettle Joshua.

Patience

Parker has had a questionable level of stamina in some of his recent bouts but he has shown that he can be patient, waiting for the right moment.

This could be crucial against Joshua. If Parker can keep moving he'll thwart Joshua's attempts to land a blow and leave him frustrated. This can lead to mistakes and a chance for Parker to land several punches. He might not match Joshua on power but if he keeps moving he'll be looking at a win on points.

Weight

Providing Parker arrives at the lighter end of the scales he'll have the pace to keep Joshua moving and actually tire the big man out. But Parker is going to need to be on the best form of his life.

The fact is that no one can remain unbeaten forever. Parker is fighting as the underdog which means he has less to lose; allowing him to stay more focused if things don't go the right way at the start.
