Earl Wood Passes Away at 74

Tiger Woods has lost the man he most credited for being who he is today. His father Earl passed away at age 74 after a long battle with cancer. The rise of Tiger Woods to the best golfer to maybe ever live is largely due to Earl.

However Earl stated his main goal all along was to raise a good son. Mission accomplished. As much as Tiger has accomplished on the golf course, he stated he wants to do more off it. If we could all raise a son to be like Tiger the world would be a better place.
