Coast to Coast Look at the Week Ahead in College Basketball

By SBRForum.com

If you seek to win the March Madness bracket picks in your office pool this year it certainly helps to know the teams that are ultimately an entrant in the Big Dance. This week's slate of Top 25 action kicks off Monday night when No. 24 Cincinnati travels to take on the streaking Syracuse Orange at the Carrier Dome.

On Tuesday, the Big 10 features a heady clash with league-leading Michigan State (16-3, 5-1) traveling to Madison to take on Wisconsin (13-5, 4-1). Both have been awful against the spread this season, but each has consistently found ways to win to this point. The Spartans are exiting a big win against Ohio State, while the Badgers disappointed as a 1-point road favorite versus Iowa 70-66.

Other key NCAA basketball games this week include Kansas (16-1, 4-0) traveling to take on Kansas State (15-2, 4-0) with first-place in the Big 12 on the line, Duke (16-1, 3-1) trying to hand ACC leader Miami (13-3, 4-0) with its first conference loss, and UCLA (15-4, 4-1) heading to the desert to take on Arizona in a key Pac-12 matchup.
