Arizona Is Who We Thought They Were

We have learned that you can turn the ball over six times, be losing by 20 points in the second half, not score a single offensive touchdown, AND STILL WIN THE GAME!! If you even are in one of those situations your chances of winning are as slim as Neil Rackers getting free drinks this week.

This has to be the biggest choke job this season and for awhile. Watching the Cardinals play in the first half it seemed like the Bears were hibernating in the desert. Everything was going their way. Matt Leinart looked like Kurt Warner, in his Super Bowl year while Rex Grossman looked like Warner, the grocery worker.

Sadly for the Cardinals they don't end the game at halftime.

When the Bears finally scored a TD with :02 left in the third quarter on a fumble by Leinart which resulted in a Mike Brown touchdown, I sensed we were going to see a comeback. Why? Though they found their franchise quarterback tonight, the Cardinals are still...well...terrible. Even as Leinart drove his team to within makeable field goal range, I commented to friends that I sense a miss field goal coming up or a block. Everything in the 4th quarter was going for the Bears. They could have doubled down on 20 and gotten an ace.

Then Neil Rackers came on the field and had a chance to be the hero. Kornholio commented that Rackers has date night with his wife every Monday night because they don't expect to play much that night. Rackers better start ordering delivery because it'll be awhile before he can start walking out into public and enjoying a nice spit-free meal.

Will Arizona rebound from a loss like this? We'll see. Luckily or unluckily for them they play the Raiders next week. If they lose, then they...well...you know how that'll look.
