The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is a college football team that represents the University of Alabama (variously Alabama, UA, or 'Bama). The team currently competes in NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision[5] as a member of the Southeastern Conference. The Crimson Tide is one of the most storied and decorated programs in NCAA history. The Crimson Tide leads the SEC West Division with seven division titles and seven appearances in the SEC Championship Game. Alabama holds a winning record against every current and former SEC school. The Associated Press (AP) currently ranks Alabama 5th in all-time final AP Poll appearances, with 47.
